Back to the Great White North eh

Sitting in Tuscon airport, super bored after snaking my exceptionally overweight bike bag and suitcase through for one falt low fee. Nah, just kidding, they charged me up the ying yang as per the norm, and shortly I'm going hunting for decent coffee. These last few days in Tucson have been really nice, long rides every day with plenty of climbing to hold me over until South Carolina. Yesterday I did the first 14 miles of Mt. Lemmon, twice. With the snow they got high on the mountain last weekend it would've been a little too cold to go all the way to the top, there was snow at the 4500ft mark and the thing is 9000ft high!!

Right now I'm pretty tired from doing a week's worth of training in 4 days, hence the coffee search. As a final ride in the sun the morning I rode over to Le Buzz cafe and crushed a cappucino to get me going. Le Buzz makes really good coffe, slotting solidly into the number three spot on my all-time list. Going home for a week and a bit should be good, no point in wasting the good weather on a recovery week I think. A little bit of riding in the cold and I'll be back down south for the OCA HP camp, this time as one of the older, supposedly more mature riders. It's going to be quite different from the last camp, where I was one of the youngest and just tried to keep my trap shut and listen....either way a couple-ten days of snow and homemade quad-macchiatos will do me good.

Europe is approaching soon too, the stoke is pretty close to an all time high. With all this Olympic coverage it's easy to find motivation, I'm trying to save it up for the sad day when the games end!!
